k24 block, k20a head swap... whats required?
hey all, ive got a question... what all would be needed to do say a swap into a DC chassis with a k24 block and a k20 head (rsx-s head)? im asking this because i have access to the block, the head, the ecu, shift linkage, tranny, etc to put a complete swap together with.
now im asking this mainly because i need to know what is required for a swap, and how much money it might be worth, reasonably... a friend of mine who owns a shop has been badly hurt in an accident and we must find out in order to move some things out of the shop... any help would be appreciated.
thank you.

you can try asking kendall, i think he's doing a k20a2 into a dc2r. you can also ask b18cxr, he did a k24 with k20a2 head into and ep3. they may be able to give you some good info.

Get the current sports compact magazine. They have an article on it. I didn't get to read it, but I saw it at bookstore.

...thats sport compact car mag. and they did cover the topic really really well. they explained all the details, required parts, and the install pretty well. the hybrid went into an ep3. but i think that hasport might make some mounts but im not fo sho on that. id pick up that issue asap if i were you. from what they said it seem like it was a really easy swap. just once you get both motors its simple. everything just bolts together. read it.
thanx

In one of the next two issues of Honda Tuning there is a swap article of a K24 with K20A into a DC2. I believe the next issue has the K-series primer with K series engine building facts and the following one has the install article on the swap.

From what brian has said in other threads, I think the DC2 has plenty of space for all of that.

I would think it would fit just fine. K20EG said he was able to get power steering to work in an EG with custom ps lines, and the teg seems to have more space underhood than the EG.
