6k your way off, i put together my all motor k24/k20a2 for around 2100 with 6spd trans. its only about 650-850 for a head, 800-1000 for block as well as the 6spd trans.

I dont have stock block anymore, but I assure you in my 2650lb ej1 it will make a 600hp cd5 h22 look pretty slow, cd5's have horrible traction issues on the street or track. But anywho...just trying to help someone out...good thing he has faith in his car.
