I did a search and all i found was weight debates for b and h series. Does anyone know how much a k20 weighs compared to a B series? thanks

I believe the tranny is smaller too, from what I've read.

K20a swap is supposed to be about 20lbs. lighter than a B18C5 swap.

Also something interesting:

The TS-X has a magnesium tranny case which is light as hell!

If the issue is H22A weight vs. K20A weight - it's not contest.

My buddy just put a K20 in his 95 GSR he bought the car as a theft recovery, when installed, it sitts soooo much higher in the front. it looks like a fkn monster truck. i know that the tranny has to be heavier than a b series, simply b/c of the 6th gear. but everything else on the motor is alluminum(brackets and such) but overall the k is alot lighter than the b
