Default just a little help

my buddy is wanting to do a swap but is very is new to the program. What is needed to do a b-series swap or a h-series swap into a 94 civic ex hatch ?? and where are some places to look for the engines ?? either point us in the right direction or give us the whole list. thanks for any help

i appreciate the help.. still having trouble decide on what to do.. i mean i know all about the honda accords but little about the civics. wiring is not a problem but still i read all the posts and links but still i can't figure out what all I need to do the swaps... as in motor only or do i need the motor and tranny and ecu together ?? thanks everyone and will keep y'all posted on the swap !!!!
