USDM engines usually cost a little bit more. You can usually find a lot of JDM motors around, but some people have had great experiences and some haven't. Look around and check out your options...

USDM motors are a little harder to find, and may cost more, but as for the changeover process, the JDM will cost more because of all the little things you have to buy.
JDM motors are definitely better, unless you can find a US spec with lower miles.

The only reason i like JDM motors better is because they can come with factory LSDs. Thats a big plus in my book. Was it worth all the bullshit ive gone thru to get my engine? Hell no...... stay here in the states.
