Default JDM TypeS info needed.

I have a buddy that has a TypeS engine from japan, complete with the LSD tranny and ECU.
I was wondering what are the reasons not to get that engine? I heard that the compression was too high and you
have to run really hi octane is this true?

typeS engines are very expensive. you're better off with a regular H22 + mods.
btw, you can run that engine just fine without the "really high octane".
92 octane should be fine.
