Jdm source gets a from me. Going to pick up a b16 from them in about 2 months. I have been in there shop and seen there motors.

yeah my buddy got some silvia headlights from them paid for them they said that they had the headlight brackets too but when he got them they didn't. he wasn't happy and wanted to send them back but they were like sorry that's how they come. he also said that they spoke very poor english on the phone. nothing big it's not a motor but this was his experience with them and they lied. but i know nothing of there motors i was gunna check it out myself. i need a swap gunna check prices.

JDM source is a good shop ran by a good guy, im sure that headlight thing was just a mistake... Numerous amounts of people i know here have gotten motors, rims, seats, lips etc from JDMsource. I recently saw a compression test on a b16 from jdm and it was perfect, 180 across. the motors are good condition from what i have seen. and ive seen sr20's, b16, b18,b20, h22's all come out of there in good shape. Give them a call they have toll free line, or check the site....

i bought my jdm b20 from them about 6 months ago. it's a bit different for me as it's a local shop for me whereas i can go and pick out which motor i want. very honest guy and i can't see anyone having a problem with him. the motor i recieved was mint and not a thing wrong with it and i've seen nothing but good from them.

thanks for the positive feedback every body, and as for the head lights for a Silvia, are u sure you got the right company man be cause we do not sell Silvia headlights separate, please let me knwo because i cannot recall ever selling silvia headlights separate from a clip to anyone! and also i speak very fluent english so might be someone else!

I would be very careful. I bought an engine from them...they said the engine compression was good. Everything is fine. I put the engine in the car would not start at all. Found out later through a leak down test that i had failures on 2 cylinders. I would be very careful. This is just my opinion.

I have delt many times with these guys from power folding mirrors all the way to motor swaps and not once do I have a complaint.Very good customer service and very clean product.

Bought a motor from JDM source, I was informed that all 6 cylinders have 160 compression. It was posted on eBay, after receiving it we found a spark plug adapter installed, no big deal until we found that the cylinder also had no compression what so ever. After emailing the vids of the compression and how bad it smokes they came up with the reply that they test it dry and wet. Hold up when I bought it I was told they only do a dry test, so now that it smokes you do dry and wet? Well they don't want to do what's right and get the situation fixed, I made a mistake and didn't purchase through eBay as I should have and had eBay charge them the 10% fee or what ever it is and been protected by both eBay and PayPal. But it's alright because I'm also protected by my credit card company since this is fraud and deceptive practices.

Purchase transaction for an advertised "in stock" transmission canceled by JDM leaving me high and dry without a transmission - wasted 4 days of my time for nothing because they don't know how to control inventory. Disorganized company - beware purchasing from them.
