JDM OBD1 B18C in 90 DA9
hey i know this **** has been covered about a million times and im not asking for a really long, in depth explaination b/c i know it wont happen... but can anyone post links where this info can be found. i have searched time after time (especially on HT), and still lack some information. i have read over the g2ic swap guide and it refers to dist. swaps for every OBD conversion and i am not doing that... so can yall please help me out with some good links to info on this swap. thanks

are you keeping the car OBD0? I assume by your post you aren't. If not you'll need:
-get a PR3 or PWO ecu
-OBD0 B16A distributor
-reuse your injectors
-move the fan switch wiring from the back of the block to the thermostat housing
-you'll have to either chip your ECU to read a one wire O2 or get an after market header that will except two O2's in the correct positions
-wire up VTEC, VTEC pressure switch, knock sensor, and 2nd O2
-the easiest way to do your intake manifold is to get a skunk 2 unit because the PR3 won't control your IAB's
honestly I would convert to OBD1, its not that hard and you could do it for like 100 dollars more using an ECU adaptor since you will already have the distributor and it'll be a whole lot less work than making the GSR engine stay OBD0

doesnt using an obd0 dizzy and ecu imply keeping the car obd0? since im not keeping the car obd0, why would i need a obd0 dizzy and ecu?
i should have clarified a few things in my first post. i am already halfway done with this swap. i AM converting to obd1. thus, i have a p72 ecu and dizzy which i intend on using since they cost so damn much. in order to do this i bought a conversion harness. i plan on using the obd0 wiring harness on which my friend and i have soldered obd1 dizzy clips. the same friend sold me a o2 sensor from when he did his obd1 b16 swap in a 89 crx. the o2 sensor has already been converted to 4 wire (so i believe) and is complete with an obd1 gray clip. i cant afford a new IM so im using the stock p72 which i guess will be fine seeing as how the p72 ecu will run IAB's. thats all i can think of for now, but i know i am forgetting stuff b/c i already typed a response and it was accidentally deleted.
oh yeah... anyone know how to loop off/delete power steering. im getting rid of it for when the swap is done and i want to do it right. and im getting rid of AC and wanted to know if i can leave the lines at the firewall open or if they need attn.
thanks fellas
