JDM K20A2 into EDM K20A3 CRV. PnP?
Hi,
A local scrappy has a 2003 JDM CTR halfcut. I was wondering if it would be an easy proposition to swap the motor into a 2002 EDM CRV. Things I'm worried about are the usual loom incompatibilities and immobilizer etc. Maintaining the cruise control on the CRV is also imperative.
Another issue that concerns me is whether the loss of bottom end torque will be noticeable, and this is a big issue in a heavy SUV without a manual gearbox.
Any warnings/comments are appreciated so as to avoid opening up a can of worms.
Thanks.

Doesn't the CRV have the K24?
If its got the K24 I'ld suggest just swapping the heads. Then you would have a proper VTEC head with all the stroke of the K24. you will need the torque for the CRV.
If its actually got a K20A3 then try and find a TSX/Accord Type R K24 swap.
More displacement is your friend with the CRV. Sorry, but I have no idea about potential problems with the swap.
