JDM H22 Type S.. what car to swap it into??
well, i am going to be starting a project car soon, with a JDM H22 type S and i want some input on what car to put it in.. i dont want something heavy, or something too common, so ill need the Prelude forum's input.. since its a lude motor.. itll be a track car, mostly used for the 1/4 mile... and just driven for "spirited" drives on weekends.. TIA for ur opinions...feel free to add your own...be creative.. and not dumbasses.... this isnt GD&D..lol

you gonna spend all that money just to swap it into a civic or something?
Do you have an attachment to the type S or something?

Re: JDM H22 Type S.. what car to swap it into?? (98vtec)
i love the ludes... and the H series is one ( IMO ) of the best motors honda made.. i just want something light, b/c my 5th gen is REALLY heavy...
and the type S is the ultimate lude motor... especially with the LSD... its either swap a type s motor into something, or SC my lude, which im kind of skeptical of, just b/c its so heavy..

much cheaper.</TD></TR></TABLE>
well, the S has higher compression, and already has some nice cams, and i dont want to build a motor... well, i could get a H22a and just put some type S cams in it.... thatll work.. all i really cant go without is the LSD... so ill look around, and see if i can find it cheaper... where is the best place to look?? hmotorsonline ??

if you are gonna buy a type s swap put it in a 5th gen sh and get the atts to work....otherwise dont waste your money, just get an eg civic coupe and drop a regular h and some boltons...

If you don't want something too common, go with a 94-99 Teg Chassis. Not too heavy and still a good lucking chassis.
