Default jdm distributor question

So here is the current position that i am with my car. I swapped it two weeks ago and i wired up the dissy. I had one wire left and it was the Blue one and i think its for tachometer but my tach works. The only thing that doesnt work it my speedometer. So i checked to see if it was plugged in and it was then i looked at the fuse and it was fully intacted. So my question is what is the blue wire for on the jdm distributor and why do you think my speedometer doesnt work? get back to me soon thanks

Doesn't the Speedometer involve the VSS, and the TACH the distributor?

Did you check your VSS? Any CELS?
