Default JDM Block Experts

I just purchased a jdm b16 longblock from a fellow honda-tech member. Upon arrival there was no block numbers on it. It had a orange stamp on it. The only identification is the stamp b16 on it. He said the reason for that is because its a factory rebuild. Can anyone confirm?

That Block is Just fine thats the way they come over here if you need a replacement block or engine...Also the 98 and newer Blocks from Spoon come this way...Just Plane old B18c..no serial # or 3 after the B18c...Just a Nice coat of red paint over the B18.. . .
