Default block girdle on JDM B16 ??

i just finished ripping apart my JDM b16 i picked up last week, and i was just glancing through a haynes manual on 99-00 si and 94-00 teg. and on the bottom of the SI and GSR blocks they have block girdles that go across the main caps. on my JDM B16 it didn't have one. i'm fixing to build it for boost, can i buy one for a SI from honda and use it on the motor ??

If no B16's had one, why did he just say that the SI's had them? Thats a B16... I am currently rebuilding a B16 for boost and im putting one on. You can actually find better aftermarket girdles. I would also recommend getting it sleeved... or at least a block guard.
