Default JDM B16A Question

Say i got a 92-95 civic.
Would it really be that much worse to get a B16 1st gen
compared with the B16A 2nd gen(92-95).
I know 2nd gen has the hydro tranny and 10 more hp but for
$1000 less i can get the 1st gen. What would yall get and why??
just want more opinions b/c i heard that 1st gen should be good
enough

Default Re: JDM B16A Question (jvithayapun)

go with 2nd gen, thats what i got, less hassel by having to convert your car to cable tranny, and they mostly have less miles on them, at least thats what i would think since my 2nd gen is stamped in 94, and most 1st gen's are from around 1990, plus having 10 extra hp doesn't hurt anything.
