Default H22a Accord intermediate ?
What exactly is an intermediate shaft, is it the drive shaft? ?
Do you need right and left integra axles?
I went to Napa today to buy the axles, and they said 53 bucks a piece but they had a core charge of 85 bucks and axle. Will autozone have a core charge if you dont have the set of axles?

the intermediate shaft is a shaft that sits between both axles, hence the name intermediate. shops often call it a driveshaft cuz they dont know ****. and sometimes when u call to ask for one from a salvage yard, they'll ask: "left or right" this is when u say: "STFU there's only 1 intermediate shaft u loser!" all auto parts stores will have a core charge.

I'm asking b/c the guy at the salavage yard asked me which side like you said...and it totally confused me....so do i just tell him to give me the drive shaft or should i explain to him what it is?

no if you tell him to give you a driveshaft they'll probably send you an axle. i think its best for you to try to explain it to him. and for the core charge on the axles, i believe they have to be from the same car as the one's you are purchasing.

yeah....most places i've delt with call it a jack shaft or half shaft

I just ordered mine from U-Fix-it-honda for $50 and they know what your talking about. They have just about anything. Why do almost all salvage yards call it a jack shaft? damn, stick with one name.

That depends..... I bought my axels and paid the core then later took in my stock Civic axels to get the core fee back. Since they never had the 2 axels side by side to compare, they refunded the core fees back.
