Default which intake to buy?

What AEM CAI system do I need to buy for my cx when swap in my LS? I heard about getting an ITR system? How about just the regular LS, will that bolt up to both the throttle body and the civic? Also, what short shifter will i need to buy, the civic or the integra??????thanks

Not too sure if it would fit cause my friend ordered a Type R AEM CAI for his LS motor and ended up having to cut it in four different pieces to make it fit properly. When he finished he said it was a good improvement though.

My AEM short ram was for a '95 ls. I have a '96 LS in my '94 cx and the ls short ram worked fine. I'm not positive about the CAI, but the bends on mine seem lined up to work if it were a cold air application.

The AEM CAI for the 92-95 EX/Si will work just fine.

They work for B series swaps, and even H series swaps

Get the LS. My stock LS shifter works fine in my cx and a short shifter will reduce throws giving it that much more room.

short shifters are lame-- very fast way to screw up your tranny unless you really want to purchase it.

I would suggest getting a GS-R short shifter then, because of the shape of the shifter, it's very comfortable to use and closer to you.

A word of advise as well -> do not install the short shifter backwards, this will screw up your tranny faster. Particulary 3rd and 5th gear will go out faster than you know it.

yeah that would be me.

It wasn't anywhere close to fitting down between the tranny and the coolant overflow tank. I don't know what the deal was...maybe it was an older design?

Oh well. It seems to work for everybody else

Same thing here, I paid extra for the ITR AEM CAI because I was told it would "fit perfectly" in my 92si with B18C. 2 hours and 3 cuts later its finally in there. I was really pissed off till I took it for a ride, its one of the best mods i've done so far.
