i ran a search but came up with nothing. i have a 2001 LS and my friend told me that i should look into getting a AEM short ram instead of the cai for the following reasons.....that give about the same horsepower and the short ram sounds really nice in my car. what do u guys think? thanks in advance

 

i believe the cai would be a better bet since its out of the hot engine compartment. but the downside is water hazard ( if u live in a place with lots of rain or snow )my freind on this board 420tegls has a 94 ls with a iceman cai which can go from cai to short ram in minutes. from what i hear he loves it.

The CAI gives more hp, and it sounds a little deeper. You will be able to tell the difference.

 

I just got done hacking the AEM CIA on my 1993 G2, I realized more peak power with the short ram design. I am working on a straighter intake now that my battery is in the rear of the car
