I'm in the same situation I guess, I have a 92DX auto for 8 years now and I want to do a B16A or B18C swap, of course, I want to convert the auto to manuel with hte swap. Is it more work to do? I figure evne if my DX is a manuel, I still nees to swap the trans as well. Am I right? Also, is JDM motor legal in CA?? Anyone know a good swap shop in SF Bay Area?

Heh.... where were you 2 months ago? Our supplier screwed up and gave us auto B18B swaps rather than 5-spd B18B swaps so we parted them out and dumped them .

Otherwise, there are also B16A auto setups also... JDM but they use a SiR auto tranny - not the same as a LS tranny either... different solenoids and brackets on each tranny, so get the right tranny for your car so that all of the plugs will connect up properly and so that no splicing/bolting/modifying is needed.
