Idle Air Control Valve on a Euro R ( H22A ) Throwing CEL Code! HELP!!!!!!
I need to know if anyone has done this swap in an eg hatchback and how they made it work. The car idles up and down but stays running. I need to know what it will take to wire it or tune it so it goes away. Please help

So you checked it and the cel is 14 correct? So do you have it wire up? If you do try unplugging it while the engine is running. The rpm should drop and almost wants to die. If it doesnt, either you got it wired wrong or it needs to be replaced. Also try taking out the iac and clean it out with brake cleaner fluid. There should be a little metal screen. After you do that put it back on the manifold. And start the car to see if it stop. Hit us back up with the news

I IACV for the euro r motor is totally different than those on d,b, and normal h series motors. The euro r uses a 3 wire iacv, which also controls the idle since there isn't a idle screw on the throttle body. He is using a p28(right?) so he needs to use two wire iacv off a civic, integra or prelude motor. The only way to get the iacv to work would be to make a bracket to mount up a 2 wire one like 2point6 did with his euro r manifold install. The only thing with that is clearance with the firewall and brake lines, since it is in a civic.
AkEuro_R did you rebend your brake lines to fit the stock iacv in there with the motor? If you already have the stock iacv in there and it clears, then all you really have to do is follow the instructions in this write up: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=337920
Eksleeper put one in his ek hatch and he posted up a few pics of his setup. From what I saw he ran an external iacv. I don't know how he made it all work, but i saw vacuum lines coming off the back of the manifold where the iacv normally bolts up and running up to a two wire iacv mounted on the firewall. That's really clever cuz it solves the clearance issue problem while still retaining the iacv. I just wish I knew how he made it all work.

Idles fine for about a min then starts to fluxuate. It revs from about 1100 rpm to almost 2. Its not that drastic but with open header its definitely audible. I did move the brake lines a tiny bit to make room for the manifold and tb. I will check out that post. Thanks guys

The hosted pictures are no longer available so reading the description doesnt help me much. I believe I can custom fit a standard 2 wire iacv from an h22 right?

Yeah. You can actually use any 2 wire iacv from a d, b, or h series motor. The bolt locations are different on all of them.
I know hotwheelz custom mounted a civic iacv on his modified euro r manifold in his h22. The 2point6 write up shows how to use a prelude iacv with the manifold. I would just use whatever iacv you can get a hold of. Hotwheelz used the civic one cuz it was smaller and cleared the firewall alittle more.
