IAC Sensor question????
My friend and I just completed a LS (99) swap on a 96 Hatch. After numerous codes and timing problems, now we are at no timing problem, but still have 1 code: P1508 = IAC. We tried switching the wires and no love. We had already changed the wire at the ECU (A14 to A12). The only other thing that could be wrong/bad in the sensor itself. If anyone has any ideas or can shed some light on this matter, it will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Like EE_Chris said, just make sure you cut the orange wire and moved the one in pin A14 to A12. Otherwise, I'm thinking your sensor might be bad.

Re: IAC Sensor question???? (e-kay)
e-kay and EE_Chris;
I did use the 2-pin connector from the LS and also taped away the orange wire. The A14 to A12 wire move was done (looking at the A-plug from the wire-to-plug side). Now I'm getting the following codes: IAC (solid code) and EVAP (pending code). We also tried switching the wires to the IAC plug, but no love. We think that we might have crossed the yellow-black wire on the EVAP and IAC plugs. They both have a yellow-black wire. Any more info would be appreciated. Thanks!
