IAB Signal
First, to clarify, reversing the IAB signal is only required if you are running an OBD2 GSR engine with an OBD1 ECU.
Find the IAB solenoid plug underneath the drivers side of the intake manifold there are two wired coming from this plug, a pink with blue stripe wire and a black wire. You need to switch the black wire from ground to a +12 volt switched source. The way i did this was by connecting it to the black/yellow stripe wire that feeds the injectors. This wire is in the main engine wire harness coming from the 12 wire plug at the shock tower it doesn't go to the engine directly though, it doubles back and connects to the injector wire bundle at a blank plug right next to the main plug.
What I did was to unwrap the engine wire harness from the main connector plug to the point where the IAB wires diverge. I then cut the black IAB wire and added a short length of wire to it so that it could reach the black/yellow stripe wire. I then spliced it to the black/yellow wire and re-wrapped the harness. It looks completely stock.
Be sure to carefully solder and insulate all connections. Sloppy wiring can lead to all sorts of horrible problems down the road so BE CAREFULL. Also, when you splice into the Black/yellow +12V wire don't cut it, just remove a short section of insulation and solder the splice on to it.
Good Luck!
