Default I can't find an 8mm pin punch. I've looked everywhere

Hey guys don't mean to bring up the same old question. I searched and found that I need a 8mm pin punch to get the bitch pin out of the shift linkage. However, every place that I have gone to doesnot carry mm pin punches. I've tried Sears, Advance Auto, ABC auto, Pep Boys,..... I'm running out of ideas.

Is there another size that I could use or something.... I know that questions about the bitch pin have been asked many times before, but this question is a bit different. Thanks in advance....

use the one of the bolts that hold your a/c compressor to the a/c bracket mount. its 8mm and a perfect fit to drive that linkage pin out

1/4" works just fine. Yes, its that weird, archaic and utterly obsolete system of measurement known as imperial standard

I often wish that this country would pull its head out of its *** and just go metric like the rest of the planet.

Use a 5/16" punch.

5/16" = .3125 in.
8MM = .315 in.

Got mine at Strauss Auto. They were behind the counter(don't know why)
You have to ask for them, WTF??
Anyway a 10 piece set was like $10.00
Made in Malaysia or some place.
Got the bitch pin out though.

go to home depot and buy a set of center punches for about $15 and there is one in the set that is an exact fit. but, you can't buy that specific center punch individually.
