Default hubcentric spacer for 90 DX Hub and 90 EX rotor

if making a ring like discussed on wes vanns website...

http://www.performanceforum.co....html

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">You need a spacer ring (collar) that has an inside diameter of 2.395" (to fit the SI hub) and outside diameter of 2.525" (to fit the brake rotor).

Doing simple math (2.525 minus 2.395, divided by 2), you can figure out that you need collar that has a wall thickness of 0.065". The height of the collar should be about 0.56".

</TD></TR></TABLE>

to make the discussed rings would it be better to use 2.625 OD, 2.495 ID, 0.065 thick and cut out .10 to .20 (for play) and squeeze fit OR

2.500 OD, 2.370 ID, 0.065 thick and slit it and stretch?

lol i guess i could buy both and try... i doubt 1 inch of tube is going to cost a lot

i was also toying with the idea of spot welding the ring in place once mounted... any feedbad on the idea??
