looking into getting into my first real project car im looking to get a 92-95 civic HB if it is compleatly stock and i plan to put a JDM b18c5 in there with a compleat swap how much extra should i have besides the cost of the motor and all like exhaust i know i will need but what eles should i get and how much extra $$$$ should i have.

you doing it alone or having it done? i would defineatly keep at least a 200 dollar. in case ****. fund if your doing it alone. small things need replacing such as when you bust open the ball joints the boots will prolly rip replace em thats like 30 bucks there you know what i would just buy a hyperflex kit too for like 120 and put the front half on while your doing this plus the random tools you may have to go pick up a cherry picker maybe id keep 200 + spare cash

ya im doin it all my self but i also have acces to a shop where i work all the tools and a cheery pciker and all if u think i could do a compleat swap in one weekend do u think i would with 1 or 2 more helpers more then likely all first time swapers but i have help take out motors in other cars have air tools and a lift

how long did it take you guys to do your first swap????

it took me a while cause i did alot while doing the swap but it can be done in a few hours once youve done it and know what your doing the hardest part is seperating the ball joints to remove the axels
