how to identify shift linkage?
a b series linkage

note the end that bolts to the transmission. numbers 27, 30, 31, 32 on the b series the linkage bolts directly to the tranny, the d series bolts to a bracket that is bolted to the tranny, you follow?

the first one numbers 27, 30, 31, 32 are on b series linkages only
another way to tell is where the linkage bolts onto the tranny, with the 12mm, has a big whole in the middle. the dseries has a tiny little whole dat can only fit the linkage in
