Default h22 ek problem

OK every thing in. Got spark, really good compression, a little fuel on the plugs
but I can't really smell fuel. this is how I wiried the resistor.

I wired in the resistor on the Yellow/black injector power wire at the firewall
Thinkin I might have done this wrong. Lookin for input.

okay i havent work with an ek with h22 swap but i have with a b series swap. So bare with me Anways that doesnt look right. From the resistor box there should be 4 wires and that one yel/blk in the pic. First thing i would do is trace each of the yel/blk wire from each injectors. If i remeber correctly it should all lead to a dead plug on the ek, its in a different location from an eg. Just cut open the wireloom and trace it back to the dead plug.

Next unhook the 4 wires from the dead plug and connect to each one to the 4 wires off the resistor box. I like doing it this way cuz its more cleaner look. And that yel/blk wire coming off the resistor box you just hook it to one of the spot of the dead plug. hth

the dead plug is underneath the manifold isn't it. I wired it this way because the wiring diagram shows this plug to be before the harness branches to each injector.
If gonna try re doing it and loom everything up. thanks.

Man I hope you are joking. It looks like an HCP drivers side mount.

where is your map? that is the wrong plug for the injectors. It is under the Intake Manifold (should be a blue connector).

Here's what I did on my friends h22 into ek, with no problems.

Just cut off all the injector plugs(since your switching to obd1 connectors) take all the power wires, combine them and hook them to the yel/blk going into the injecotor resistor box.
Then run one red to each injector.
That's it. Runs fine.

I used the civic harness wih prelude plugs

Civic Prelude

TDC + grn to orn/blu
- red to wht/blu

CKP + Blu to blu/grn
- wht to blu/yel

CYP + yel to orn
- blk to wht

I had three wires left two of them were for the coil
and the colors match. then one left over on both the plug and harness
so I connected them.

take the four wires from your fuel injectors the yel/black ones and then splice those four wires into the red/blk ones on the back of the plug to the resistor box. then you run a switch power to the fifth wire on the resistor box.
