how fast would a B20 w/ B16a head be in a 95 civic coupe?
Ive got a friend with a civic coupe, it has some wieght reduction but not alot.. Hes running Volk TE-37's and he has a CRvtec.. Its not built or anything but im pretty sure hes running IHE and test pipe.. He has an V-AFC and its been tuned.. How much hp would a set up like this make? How fast could this car run in the 1/4.. He said it pulls really hard in 4th gear and he says he can beat SS's and TA's.. I want to race him, im wondering how much boost ill need to run to beat him..

a friend of mine did that and didn't do much to it building it......i think he got 165 hsp to the wheels. you should be looking at times being 1-2 tenths faster than your basic type r swap. (has a little more torque) a good driver in a coupe w/ 15 or 16 inch rims with that motor should break into the 13's. if he's a good driver. another friend of mine has a coupe with a gsr w/ type r pistons and i'm not sure what else(nothing crazy) and he went 13.80's yesterday on 15 or 16" rims. about 103 mph
