How FAST...95 cx hatch with 95 LS motor all stock
Well I just put money down on a 95 LS complete swap. I have a 95 cx hatch and i want to know what kinda numbers can i put out. I'm leaving everything stock for now until i build my motor. I got stock exhaust and a modded air-box. With and Ls 5spd what kidna numebrs can i get in the 1/4 mile??

Oh man i just realized it said, stock exhaust, etc. Mid 14's is not correct. But, if you open up the breathing and use a GSR tranny you should hit around the mid 14's.....

dont forget that the LS tranny is a weakpoint in the racing scene....
if you can get your hands on a B16 tranny with much shorter gearing, you will be a lot quicker with minimal work/cash.

I had a 92 CX with a 95 LS and with a header, exhaust and intake I was running a 14.9. Im no pro but I think thats pretty close to what you can expect with those mods. Now with everything stock I think you'll get a low 15. The stock exhaust is very restrictive.

You should hit low 15s and w i/h/e you should hit high 14s. Good luck with the swap and let me know what you run when you get it going. Peace

Yeah i'm thinking we will finish it in liek 4 hours if that on friday night then we might take it to Great Lakes Drageway, on Sunday see what it runs. Yeah ill let you know if i run it or not

look forward to a check engine light, your going to try your best not to but trust me your probably going to need a new TPS and MAP sensor.

why will i need a new TPS and MAP sensor????
Do you think they are broke or sumthing??
Thats ok casue i can just take a trip outside the junkyard adn find me so new (used) ones

im just saying this from experience with all the swaps i have seen, they always break even if you try your hardest not to, yeah thats what we always do just go to a junk yard and pick the sensors up, good luck

well there is a certain way to pull them off the map sensor. it they don't come off we cut hte tube and put a peice of metal in and plug it into teh ls

Well i had a chance to race a 00 prelude type SH that was all stock with intake which is basically what I ahve but no intake stock LS filter.
I was dead nuts with him basically the whole way from a stop.

My cousin did a 14.5 in a vx with a stock 95 ls and ls tranny. He ran it with his stock 13" vx rims it's possible to hit mid 14's.

WTF, well I'm geting a new engine now. The LS I have in right now has 100,000 miles on it and its going to be replaced. The first time we started it up 
VALVES loud as all hell. 
Then we checked the valves and adjusted them propperly and they were still quite loud. Then we cranked the motor over, with the valve cover off and no plug wires. And hmmmm......the oil squirters were very week, meaning the stream of oil was very little. So i think it has bad oil pressure. This was all the day i got the swap in which was like 2 weeks ago and, since it didn't seem that bad and nothing has changed during the few times I have drove it since I'm not 16 yet, we figured it would be ok for a little. And it was ok and still is but I was at A+ Forgein-H&H Auto Parts, were I got my swap from and the guy i bought it from (David) the owner said that he just received a 95 ls in that had 66,000 miles on it and he is going to give me that engine. 
in exchange for the 100,000 mile one i have now. Cause he has phat warrenty's on swaps. 90 start up gurrentee. So we are going to be putting that engine in my car in a couple of days.
However, I have a little more cash so I'm going to buy some CTR pistons w/rings to put in the new LS. Were going to do this for a little more compression and then i don't have t do it later.
So i wa wondering how much faster will i be with CTR pistons in a bone stock LS with cx exhaust and stock intake........
