Default how to check codes

ok guys i did a obd1 conversion to my crx with b16a im using a p28 ecu and im just wondering how can i check whats wrong with my car my check engine light is on and before with the pr3 i would just count the blinks on the ecu and now im wondering how to check it any help greatly apppreciate it

instructions should have come with your OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness.

just count blinks like you used to. the codes are in a sticky in the EG/EK forum.

i cant count the blinks like before cuz the p28 doesnt have the little window to see them, thats why im asking how to check them now , i did the obd1 conversion using a p28 ecu, and how do i do it know to find out whats the check light on for.


anyone??????????????????????????????????????


and instructions didnt come out with the conversion to check the check engine light just on how to covert it

You have to jump the check engine light in the engine bay and then count how many times the check engine light in your gauge cluster blinks.

ok but how do i jump the engine light from the engine bay, what do i have to do to do the jump, thanks for the info guys i search but no luck

yea this is my first post. just use a paper clip and jump the terminals in the obd1 connector and count the blinks. which ones to jump i dont know
