my friend has a 93 hatch with a usdm h23a1 in it and he bought it about 4 days ago and it ran fine and just recintly like yesterday he noticed a knocking sound coming from the engine on the timing belt side and we were wondering if he has in fact bent a rod or somthing, would that have somethin to do with the high idle we have checked for vacuum leaks and the t/a sensor and the throttle body and i its not throwing any codes which makes me think that the check engine light is messed up or disconnected any help or ideas would be great thank you
