High compresion=high horsepower?
explain this to me will I have more horsepower with my 11.8:1 comp compared to my stock ls comp. Fully built bottom end 86mm bore, eagle rods, acl race bearing, fully balanced bottom end.

Theory is....
high cylinder presure = more torqe and HP.
Aggressive cam profile = low cyl presure but imporoves high rpm breathing
So.... you need to combine both to get maximum efficiency.
If not.
Too much cyl presure will cause detonation, not gain anything and break the engine.
Too Big cams and you loose presure which will make ur car loose drivability specially in the low and mid rpms. In some cases, if you dont have enough cyl presure, big cams will be useless even in high rpms.
