Default HELP me out CRX won't stay on!!!

Ok well I bought a CRX Si '88 which I just finished slapping on a Z6 friend#1 did the wiring for it after the motor was on. I then try to start it but nothing would happen so I thought it was the timing and friend#2 came over and put the timing on right, still my car wouldn't turn on so he checks for spark in the NGK's and no spark was going thru, So I call friend#1 that did my wiring and he tells me to check the dist. cables which i do and 2 were flip over. So I put them on right and then thats when the car started BUT the idle was shitty going up and down and wouldn't rev over 3k rpm's so friend#1 informs me that the ecu is prob burned, so i try a DX ecu and it let me rev past the 6k BUT only at the beginning because after that it would die. So now the problem I have is that when I give it gas it kinda chokes and dies. Any suggestions Ideas???????????

I had a similar problem on my LS swap and it turned out that I was using the wrong injectors. If you have the ones that are stock in that motor then I doubt you are having the same problem I was.
