Default Help identifying plug!


Where does this plug go? The engine harness is from a 96 ek, and the engine is a obd1 b18b1. This plug runs along the map sensor plug.

Is that the hook up for the TPS?? how many wires going to it could possibly hel out also...

Intake Air Temperature plug. You need to switch it to the right plug that will work on your LS intake manifold.

Well it's not the I.A.T plug b/c i already plugged that up...I will check the number and color of the wires tomorrow, but I'm almost positive that there are 2 wires on that plug.

My Dx didn't have power steering so i know it isn't that.

its probably for the evap purge solenoid. there are only 2 plugs like that.

there is a grn/blk and red/yell wire coming out of the plug

That's what I think it is too. You will probably have to extend it to reach the top of the manifold (I had to extend mine on a 00 Si harness to reach the top of the B18C1 intake manifold). The red/yellow is the positive, and the green/black is the ground. See diagram below:
