HELP!! Got a B16A2 block & tranny... What else do I need?
Hi,
My friend just picked up a block, tanny, motor mounts, wiring harness, shift linkage, axels & ecu from a 00' Civic SI (B16A2), we're going to swap it into his 99 Civic CX. This is going to be my first swap, and was wondering if anyone knows what else we're going to need to complete this. I know were going to need a head, but what would be the best, B16A, B18C...etc . Also does anyone know of a link that I could use to get some info for this specific swap. Also, the top of the block/pistons have some surface rust (It was a totaled car, no hood, and someone stole the head) what needs to be done to that... Do we need new pistons, and if so what would be the best... We want an all motor setup....Thanks!
