Icon2 HELP: EM1 with GSR swap IAB wiring

Car: 00 Civic Si
Motor: 95 GSR with OBD2b Alt, Dizzy, Injectors
Ecu: JDM OBD2a 5sp 37820-P72-013
Harness: OBD2b to OBD2a Jumper & OEM 00 Si Motor harness

Now Ive done a lot of reading and have only came across threads stating the IAB (Intake Air Bypass) Which is the secondary butterfly, has to be wired in so the CEL light will be off. The question is. Where do I pin this and is there any write ups w/ pix to help me out. Ive searched in the FAQ but I come up with nothing. Any and all Info will help me out here. Going to have very nice weather this weekend and would like to finish my swap.

I have found the IAB which is Connector B pin 16 on a obd2b ecu. The link http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd2b.htm

And the obd2a location is Connector A pin 26. The link http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd2a.htm

My questions are. Where is the sensor located on the motor and do I need to pin my jumper harness to make the ecu read correctly ?

So just hooking the EM1 harness to the gsr motor (using the OBD2 parts) should be a PNP set up? Im goign to be ditching the oem mani for a Victor X. So I wont have to deal with the secondary butterflies.

Yeah will not need to wire up IABs with the p28. You will have to use your intake air temp sensor in your intake arm if you haven't already as the GSR differs in style.

Okay what about the ckf sensor? Will the p28 over look it as well? I ordered a obd2b b16a2 vtec solenoid so I csn make my swap as close to or if not just pnp. I have a em1 iat sensor and have put it in the arm like you said.

The vtec solenoids are the same. P28 will eliminate the CKF.

With a p28 or the victor you won't need to wire IAB.

Thanks for the info. You just made my headaches go away. I cant get this JDM GSR to run in my EM1 using a OBD2a ecu. I even did the CKF bypass and still runs the same.
