Were doing a LS swap in my freinds Hatchback right now. I have previously done the same swap without A/C. His particular engine has the A/C belt and compressor intact and in good conditions. My question is can i use the compressor on the engine ro do i have to switch and use his civic one with a del sol vtec A/C engine moutn bracket? Thanks for your help!

 

I believe all b-series engines that are stuffed in 5th gen civics will require the a/c bracket from a del sol dohc vtec. Don't hold me to that. I have to get one of those damn brackets too for my hybrid. What year civic is it in?

Hmm. I was inspecting the A/C compressor comparing the civic to integra. This being a 92 civic and a 95 integra. The integra one is alittle bit bigger but still has all the same connecters. I might actually go ahead and experiment to see if i can use the integra compressor with the civic fans using some hoses. Not sure. Anyones input will help!

 

You could Zynentech, however you will have to recharge your A/C system. I say just get the Del Sol bracket and call it good.
