Default HELP - B20vtec starts then dies??

a bit stuck guys, and need some help....

ok, i've fitted a B20vtec into my 86 civic GT (si)

as it was just a 12valve originally i've run new wiring for numerous sensors, all is correct to the best of my knowledge (and double checking) but when i crank it, it will start rev to about 2k then die straight away. throttle will not keep it running either.

the only thing i havn't got plugged up is the 2 oxygen sensors from the header, i was told it would still run with them out, and just throw an ecu light but run.

its OBD0 from a edm crx v-tec (B16a1)

would the 2 oxygen cause it not to run like this????

Thanks Keith.

will the car idle for a long time, and it only dies when u rev above 2K? if so, it sounds like you arent getting fuel above 2K. that could be anything really...or maybe u are getting way too much fuel above 2K, i saw fix the o2 sensor code and see where u are after that....
good luck

Check the fuel first because it is probably easier. You said your running a OBD0 from a edm crx v-tec (B16a1). I know that some of the edm will not work with out the right key and ignition switch do to the anti-theft crap. See if can borrow a usdm or jdm ecu to try it out.
