Default Help!

This is a newby question I guess but I am going nuts here.
I got a Honda CRX Del Sol (Esi) with a broken engine.
I need to swap, so I thought let's swap it for a better one.
I want to swap it for a b16a or B18C5 engine.
anyways..DO I need to swap the tranny as well?
Some guy say yes, the other sais no the other sais you can swap the b16a without tranny.
Can anybody help me?

Does your Esi come with a b series motor??? If yes then you don't need a new tranny. If it has the SOHC then you will need everything for the swap (engine, tranny, ecu, axles, shiftlinkage, mounts and other misc parts.
