Default Which header to use with my Civic Hybrid??

I have a 92 civic SI with a JDM GSR in it.....what header will work with my setup? GSR, ITR...??!! I was told that only the GSR will work....and truth to this? Right now, i am using the stock GSR exhaust manifold and a custom made test pipe. Thanks

Hey:

I got a comptech header for a Type R for mine. I liked it because it had the 02 sensor bung in the header, very close to the stock location for the GSR.

It also bolted up to the stock exhaust in my CX (which is different from the Si). You'll have to go to a muffler shop to get your B pipe sorted out. It should also be pointed out that I don't have to mess with a cat. Your requirements may differ.

It was only a little more expensive new than the OEM JDM type R everyone raves about and I think it might be a little better design.

Good Luck

Steve

Get the header for your engine application, in this case get a header for a B18C1. You can also get a JDM 4-1 header but there might be some length issues. I never have that problem.

I'm running a DC Sports JDM ITR header due to the 2.5" collector. Oh yea, I've got a B18C1. Mine also has the O2 sensor in the collector, which I prefer over having it on the cat.

The 2.5" collector will require you to get your exhaust modified to fit up to it.
