well is there a fly wheel on there??? if so then manual, if not and there just splins for the tourqe converter then automantic...

he just bought a b16 head..not block
head it won't matter...same thing on auto and manual

Yes.
Cams are less aggressive on the auto. But like i stated, the castings are the same. You have to degree the cams to know which are which, unless you have an ungodly talent for sizing up cams with your eye.

is there a throttle body on it? most autos have another "throttle cable" hook up to it, letting the tranny know when to down shift when needed
