Has anyone done a 5 lug conversion?
I have a 1995 GSR and want to do the ITR 5 lug conversion.
Has anyone done it or can anyone tell me for sure what exactly I would need to do it?

since you already have an integra all you will need is the front hub/ spindle and the rear trailing arm (hub/ spindle attached to it) all other peices will already be on your car

Re: Has anyone done a 5 lug conversion? (eg_type_r93)
I am doing the 5 lug conversion for the ITR gun metal rims. I like them more than any other rim.
SO what exactly are those parts? I have found from Acura many part numbers vary and some are the same, so it is hard to know what exactly is necessary foir the 5 lug.
AS far as the actual ITR suspension I am not worried about having. I just want the 5 lug. I would much appreciate the help!

Blingage eg_type_r93? For you to say that a brake swap of this manner is "blingage" is degrading the entire swap. Anyone who goes fast, regardless of how fast it is, knows that the next key element is stopping. Stock brakes with the drums in the back suck. A GSR swap is pretty good. A Type R swap is even better. Don't criticize someone who's concern is stopping. A 500 + horsepower car is really "blinging" when it can't stop. As for the 5-lug swap, you're going to need virtually everything. If you get rid of the ABS, mastercylinder, brake booster, all front end components minus springs, rear trailing arms and brake components minus springs. If you keep ABS, all of these components plus the ABS braking system. The Type R suspension is much better then any other stock Honda, but if you already have different suspension that should suffice.

just try to get a 5-lug set up from a usdm type r. They have the mounting taps for the rear abs sensor. like stated earlier, if not you will have to omit the abs system.

he doesnt know what he is talking about. your abs will work fine. if you use the itr lower control arms with your gsr abs sensors, you will have to change the metal protective sleeves to the itr ones . cheap! if you use the gsr LCA and your abs sensor it will bolt on just fine. i just did the swap.

I had the understanding that usdm type r's all came with abs (lighter than a gsr's abs). im confused as well, i have 5-lug suspension with no metric monuting taps for the abs sensor and it's respective cover. I have 4 x 114.3 setup aswell with no abs mounting. any info would be appriciated, thanks

Re: Has anyone done a 5 lug conversion? (FIGARILA)
i got my 5 lug conversion off a 2001 ITR.
abs unit between gsr and itr are different. (ITR abs module = better) you can use either.
what car are do you have?
what lower control arms are you using?
if you are using the ITR LCA's you will need to use the ITR abs metal sleeves.
if you are using the GSR LCA's you need to use the GSR abs metal sleeves.
not sure a
bout the 96specR setup.
