Default hard to shift into 4th

Just did a b18b swap in my 93 del sol si using a b18a tranny(91). Has new clutch/pressure plate/t.b. It's hard to shift into 4th gear sometimes, kind of sparatickly. Sometimes when shifing @5,000 rpms and others @2,500. I have new mtf fluid, i've used both valveoline 10-30 and honda mtf. Theres no grinding at all, just hard to put into gear. Seems to be easy when I'm not moving but has been hard to get in a few times I am using the del sol dohc vtec linkage. any suggestions?

I changed the fluid last night, for some odd reason it seemed to make it shift normally no stiff shifting. I had enough fluid to begin with, this is the third time i've changed fluid, i guess it might have been gumed up from sitting in the junkyard for several years, the orginal fluid i removed from the tranny was really nasty.

being that your having probs with all gears I'd lean toward clutch/pressure plate/ throw out bearing. Is there any grinding when you put it in gear?

what colors did you find in the old fluid most likely it is the bronze blocker ring.

i goes in between the synchros. if you have gold flakes in the old fluid it was the bronze ring. if it was cloudy then it is your actual synchros. is it calbe tranny or hydro?
