Default Possible clutch problem?

When i shift into Reverse or 5th, i often hear a loud crunch coming from somewhere in the front of the car....after i shift out of R or 5, and shift back in, the crunch is quieter. Sounds to me like something is grinding...maybe some built up dirt or something? any ideas...thanks.

change your transmission fluid to Penzoil/GM Synchromesh...

your 5th gear sprocket/sychros is a little worn or you might just need to change your flluid.. I know when I got my lude it wouldnt let me shift above 5000 rpms b/c the fluid was so worn out/old...
