Icon2 H2B Questions

I have a Honda Civic EG bubble, I bought a H2B kit out of a civic EK9 will the mounts still work in my EG? Also, what back T bracket do I have to use?

No. Next time you post a question, be more detailed. Example, which h2b kit are you using? What engine is in your car? read the H2b Faq and it will answer all your answer.

Its an Evolution Kit out of a EK9, engine is a H22A with GSR trans

The EVO kit will work with the exception of the rear mount. Also, you wont use the mount brackets that come with the EK kit.

Yep, the EG/DC mount are one piece. The EK mount is two piece. Also the EG/DG has a center slot on the bottom and is offset about 1/4 inch.

so your saying the Ek mount made by evolution h2b will work with eg/dc chassis???

The passenger and driver side mounts sill work. You wont have to use the brackets that come with the EK kit for those mounts. The rear mount will not work. You will need to order the rear mount from the EG kit I believe it is around $130. As for the T bracket, I believe you will need one from a 94+ integra. The 99-2000 si T bracket is for EKs.

Yea all you have to do is buy the rear mount I believe they sell an adapter as well for 100 not to sure tho

Pretty much sums it up.

Retail on that rear mount is $162.00

EG rear mount part number is EV-9295RR

how much u get this for? QSD kits are half the price of evo kits and you retain your stock mounts. just buy inserts or get aftermarket mounts.



better buy imo.

kid gave me linkage, all the mounts, trans, and another H22A for guted EG coupe with a 16 SOHC in it needed work. I think i made out on the deal lol
