Hello everyone, I'm thinking about a h2b swap for my ej1. My issue is I would like to keep my a/c because it is damn hot here. Plus my wife wont be too happy in the hot summer heat. My question to h2b a/c owners, how did you guys manage to have a working a/c? I would like to see pictures as well if you can post them. Thanks

 

From what I have seen, nobody is running AC, it is possible though but the stock alternator bracket will need to be retained, not those relocator brackets. I have an H2B ek and i looked into fitting my AC back however the header will need to be customised to clear the AC pump, other than that everything else will bolt up, the pipes though will have to be customised aswell, it is definately possible.

 

It is possible, my friends brother has ac in his h2b ek.

 

i think its only possible in ek. in my eg there no room for the crank pully to sit in stock position for the altenator to clear.

 

i am wanting to do this swap in a eg.. but i need my ac... man. this is my dd.. this sucks so bad.. does anybody else have any info.. aboout this..; on the north corlina.. forum.. a guy did it with ac in a eg..

i think the issue is the frame rail clearance. so why not just bang or cut the framerail a bit? i think im gonna take on that task since i dont want to buy a daily just to have ac.
