Default H2B Hard Start After Fill Up

Hey guys, so i recently acquired a 99 civic with an H23a/S80 combo. Whenever i put gas in the car it doesn't want to start unless i feather the throttle while starting it for like 10 seconds. The previous owner claims that this is due to it having an AEM fpr, AEM Fuel rail, and a Walbro 255. I'm no expert but i would assume that there is some way to fix this so that i don't look like a stupid ricer trying to rev my car after filling up at the gas station.

Thanks for any tips or help, much appreciated!!!

Vacuum leaks? What is the fuel pressure? Do you have a gauge?

AEM rails have a NPT fitting which can be used for a fuel pressure gauge.

It's an EVAP issue. My RSX has the same problem and it is getting a MIL code for one of the shut-valves in the charcoal box.

Pressure with regulator vacuum hose disconnected 47-54 psi.
^ Per a search here, right from the Helms manual.

I would not cancel out vacuum leaks as the H22 is notoriously sensitive to them.

Thanks for the help guys, i'm gonna check my fuel pressure gauge, and look for any vacuum leaks after work.
