H2B Ek keep AC ?
Greetings all & Happy Holidays,
I have a few questions.
Main Question:
1) With a H22a or F20b is it possible to fit AC & alt without altering my (ek) chassis. I've seen one thread on carolina honda's about keeping ac but do not want to jump into it without understanding more.
2) i need more powa (than a LS) , ik a b-swap is easiest & i have the mounts already . but what can i get the most bang for my buck out of (hp per dollar & hours of operation per dollar) . i was thinking b20v or h/f2b.
3) how difficult is it to run e85 n a ej6
Thank you

1 - If you've seen a thread on it, then obviously it's possible. Maybe you should read that thread if you want to understand it more?
2 - FAQ sticky. Covered in excess.
3 - Easy - just get it tuned for it. You'll need bigger injectors, and you'll gain exactly nothing from it on a stock or near-stock motor.

Re: H2B Ek keep AC ?
thanks for the reply
1) many things prohibit me from doing that , its only 1 thread that'd i'd join the forum for, its old & would like to see others who had done it. the thread wasnt in detail
2) i'll have to look into it more , im between b20v high comp & stock h/f
3) would the corresponding senors need to b changed or calibrated ? (O2)

Search for a forum member named libertariat. He's got an ek hatch with an h22 and a/c. He's got a thread that talks about how he did it.
Here's the thread:

even with a slim fan (which will require fabrication of a standalone condenser mounting solution) space is tight. the best bet is to have a fabricator (or if you are capable yourself) replicate the factory (for the Accord/Prelude) arrangement to fit. so a pivoting alternator above the rigid-mounted compressor as close to the block as possible.
