Default h2b build advice

Hello everyone i'm going to be building a h2b for next season gonna take my time with the build. my objective is to use all off the shelf parts and to make above 250 whp and be able to hit low 11's with this setup if possible. Im not sure which shel it'll be going into yet i'm just focusing on the motor for now.

Bottom End

Block: H23a

Sleeves: darton sleeved perhaps a 90mm bore? im not to certain on the bore size yet. Everyone is welcome to help me out there, i want to have optimal bore size with safety in mind.

Piston: Wiseco or JE 12.5:1 pistons. whichever brand piston will have plenty of piston to valve clearance and be extremely durable.

Rods: golden eagle h beams i believe h beams are better to user correct me if im wrong

crank:h23 crank knife edge, micro polished, and balanced

Kaizen Speed balance shaft eliminator kit

Head:

cams: either skunk 2 pro 2's or 3's whichever cam best compliments the 12.5:1 piston

valves: skunk 2 or supertech valves. any suggestions for over sized or flat faced valves? if so explain why thank you

springs: skunk 2 or supertech springs to be able to withold a high revving motor

retainers: skunk 2 or supertech

valve guides: are bronze valve guides necessary?

intake maniofold: i want to do the k2h intake manifold or euro R

throttle body: im not too sure what size to go with any suggesitons?

Header: im not too sure on which to use here either help please.

Head work: port and polish intake and exhaust ports
port match manifold to throttle body and head
port and polish intake manifold
3 or 5 angle valve job can some1 please explain the difference?

all headwork done by rlz engineering

please feel free to chime in everyone

For an all motor build, I'd roll I beams. As far as the headwork is concerned, I'd talk to RLZ about that or just PM nah2b on here. He appears to be handling all the h22 heads. Good luck with your build, I'm looking forward to seeing how it runs

Your list looks solid, what are you planning to use on the gearbox and clutch side of things?
