H23 in 4th gen accord
I've posted in the accord forum with no dice...I have a 90 accord with 96 H23 prelude motor in it...I was told by others that have done this swap before to use the accord axles and accord center shaft....it all fit right but the only problem is on the right side front, whenever the motor slightly torques up, there is a grinding noise coming from the suspension...I jumped under there one day to look and it turns out that the metal ring clamp on the inside of the CV boot on the axle is slightly grinding against my wishbone and causing this horrible noise. now its not really causing any damage, its just buggin the hell outta me...I was debating on taking the whole strut assembly with wishbone and grinding out the area where its rubbing...the questions are if you have seen this before, how did you fix it or if I actually grinded it out, would it weaken the integrity of that wishbone? Any info is greatly appreciated...

Re: H23 in 4th gen accord (H23vtecEG)
The axles I am using were stock OEM replacements for my old F22...I dont think its an abs ring, it clamps the CV boot down so no axle grease is let out...I'm going to try getting the wishbones from the prelude and see how those go...
