H22A1 install - what error codes can I expect?
If I install a '95 H22A1 drivetrain minus most emissions controls, do I risk the computer restricting performance?
For example, I will not have a smog pump or egr valve. I have the manuals and can puzzle out the error codes, but it isn't clear what the computer may do in addition to the error messages.
I also heard an ugly rumor that if the stock dash isn't installed (it won't be) that the computer won't know how fast the car's going. Huh? Is this true.
A little concerned,

Re: H22A1 install - what error codes can I expect? (kb58)
i just put a h22 into my 90 integra but i used an aftermarket standalone. BUt aslong as you wire the speed sense wire to the computer you will be fine. Its the 3 pin plug on the tranny near the rear of the tranny just needs power and ground the signal hooks up to your cluster which needs to be electronic like the prelude it came out of, I installed a 99 lude cluster and it is a direct plug in. You shouldn't see any fault codes when you take off the egr and other smog accesories. hope i helped you out.

Thanks for the info.
OT:
BTW, what's with the time stamps on our posts. I don't know what time zone this server is in, but I edited my post last night about 7pm PST.
